Honestly not taking anything away from GC at all because they are a great team too, but do you think you could beat a full strength Castlewood squad with Tihlee not playing?

You do realize his FG, 3P, and FT percentages were very high right? Not to mention leading the region in assists, having over 500 for his career (meaning he created over 1000 points for his teamates, this goes along with that 2000+ points) right? Let's not forget his rebounding and defensive efforts right? How many did he drop on GC? What was his percentages for the night? (We'll go over how percentages work, if needed.)

Anyone that knows anything about basketball can see Adam is a baller and definitely deserving of this award. I can promise you no one has worked harder during their high school career. Maybe matched him, but no harder.

Don't worry, Hack will probably get it next year. Don't hate.

And he did that most of the time against a box 1. I could only imagine if he would have been played a strait up man to man.

Where was he? He was on here telling us how the Cumberland District was the strongest in the state while a "weak" LPD school was playing in the final 4. For that matter Burton should have beaten Castlewood in the region.

And as far as Hood getting POY? The kid is a PLAYER plain and simple. While it's hard to judge with GC having Hack, Ti, and Salyer, Hood did score over 2,000 having nearly 30 on us. And his 500 assists show he wasn't a selfish player who provided at least 1,000 points for his team mates. The kid is like Dockery, if he gets hot he will scare the hades out of you because he can pop the shot from anywhere. Hood for region POY is a heck of a lot more sensible than the LPD POY coming from a team that won 4 district games and players who were better on better teams getting passed over.

Yeah and the Cumberland was the best district in region D, maybe not the state. I ain't even from Castlewood but I'll tell you 1 thing, if Fisher was healthy Castlewood are state champs right now and that's not my opininion that's a fact.
